1.21 Performance Indicator

Just intrested to see and to read your opinions about the performance of your machine before and after the patch and whether or not it is card related?

So i have an nVidia card and its performance has noticabley decreased since patching. See one of my previous threads for how much it has http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61541

i've got this old nvidia card : 5700 LE 256 MB , and it seems as if the game runs a bit smoother .

great thread, i would have thought that Nvidia wud have pulled through since they are the leading manufacturer in all other games, shame EA/DICE aint working with them to get us a decent frame rate .

My performance have greatly decreased in the last patch, where is my performance boost ?

Notice a little performance increase with my ATI Radeon 9700. Not much in game but the verifying data is MUCH faster.

I re-installed BF2 and then full 1.21, and after that the game ran smoother than ever, only problem is my 6800 GT broke yesterday :|: (unrelated)

Even tho' i dont want to admit it... it seems that with my ATI 9600Pro I have poorer performance than before... Although, Im not sure its card related... It lags even at 1024x768 Low, Low, Low, Low...... etc. :) :cry:

My 2 x Nvidia GT6800 (SLI) setup seems to be unaffected, running smoothly...so far anyway

well with a setup like thjat Dawson its very unlikely that u wud run into any probs.

I have a 9800 pro 256mb and it runs smoother and graphics seem clearer and sharper.

yep im getting better perfomance with the new patch.ati 9600(256mb)with the 6.3 drivers.

ATi X300, used to be smooth as silk, now it stutters once per second.

thing only thing I notice is that the new patch did absolutley nothing to address the concerns of the community

Yes, I agree, I have a 7800 GT OC and it doesnt run as good as it used to. What is weird is it is only sometimes that the performance drops. The only thing I have been able to connect to the performance drop is that its during the times that I suspect some, more than one, people are using cheats. (I say cheats because I still havent figured out how some guys regularly kill me from beyound visual range or how the AA from shore is able to hit my jet during take off on the carrier) Maybe there is a more reasonable answer. Wish I knew what it was. . . . . . . .Red


Never mind the community concerns, lets get the bugs fixed. Thats all I need.

My ATI card runs alot smoother since 1.21 patch
