Re: Tank Vs Tank
The one shot is possible, but an Abrams against a APC = APC :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: :dead: . Hit.....x for smoke......move....hopefully you have eng close or a supply crate.....fire your guns until your main weapon reload and it should be done.Comment

Hehe I know what you mean. The first time it's a little unnerving having to sit there taking fire while you line it up perfectly then *boom* it's over in an instant.Comment

You know now that you mention it, I've found some of my best playing comes when Im the most relaxed.Originally posted by ChuChuHehe I know what you mean. The first time it's a little unnerving having to sit there taking fire while you line it up perfectly then *boom* it's over in an instant.
Its those matches where your team is already down 150 tickets, and the match it pretty much forfeit, and your killing the enemy half out of spite and half out of boredome waiting for the round to end.
Its those times when you score these golden hits, or go on little 10-1 killing sprees with your pistol cause your out of ammo for your primary.
Those are the little moments that make all the 'l33t ch0pp3r d00ds', TK'ing asshats, rouge admins, bugs, and other crap fade from memory.Comment

Re: Tank Vs Tank
best way to survive a tank on tank battle is to get your shot in first. If you can do this, your odds of surviving are dramatically increased. What you dont want to do though is just sit there and fire back and forth at each other like it's the 1700's or something lol. Keep moving around and buildings are your friend. Why? because you can peek out from behind one, fire, and then retreat back behind it, making the enemy tank or whatever have no shot on you. Knowing how to aim the turrent well also is an advantage...I've made some crazy shots before lol.Comment

Re: Tank Vs Tank
Yeah lining up for a shot in a tank vs tank battle is kinda rediculous..unless you have time to aim and such cause you are totaly un-noticed..
Best thing is what dude above me said, first shot usually wins..fi you play it right.
get good position to be able to shoot then hide..
fire rocket then throw it in reverse or what ever puts you in full cover, watch as enemy rocket wizzes by your front as your in reverse.
throw it in gear, zoom out of cover and lay second shot on them, then retreat again..usually after the second shot you can go blazing after them do to the dmg you put on them compare dto them not touching you.
best advice I have tho..be any engy...
learn the best spots to use as cover and learn to not rely on crates but be able to retreat and repair and come back fast..
1-3 time of this can equal AT guys runnin out of rockets and have them wondering "damn didnt I shoot him a bunch of times a minute ago, how did he get full health??"
in lastly, in my opinion..dont think tank means lead the charge..suppor the charge..a tank going in balls to the wall usually cant have his turret facing every AT guy, engy with mines or c4 guy..while your racking up kills on the 20 guys in front of you..3 sides of you are exposed..
Id rather have 0 deaths then 100 kills....Comment
