Having similar problems, but on a 7600GT with the new 1.3 patch. Was still the same with old 1.22
I'm using the latest forceware ultras...
Terrain: Low
Textures: High
Effects: Medium
Geometry: High
Lighting Medium
Dynamics: Low (Both)
AA/AF: Max
It's def a dynamic lighting problem... Only started happening on my latest format. Could be an issue with the latest nvidia drivers and BF2. Never had a single problem with any other game.
