Can't restart BF2...

Ok, my system is:

Athlon 3200 Barton
1gig paired DDR 400mhz RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 XT (omega drivers)
nForce2 chipset
nForce2 audio (nvidia drivers)

Basically I start my system up and I can fire up BF2 fine. However, if I quit BF2 normally, or via a crash & then try to load it up again it throws a wobbly and gets caught by MS Visual Studio's debugger. Prior to installing that I just got an error message.

There is no particular message, it just crashes. Anyone experienced anything similar or have any ideas? BF2 is the only game/app which does this.

reinstall maybe, i have never heard of this that much, I dont know if there is a nother solution but Im thinking a manual reinstall would work. look at the stick on how to do it.
