Stat padders

Sorry tried to register on the threads above regarding reporting stat padders. where do I report the following:

I was the commander of USMC on Wake, noticed that the same three people kept on meeting near the airfield to stat pad, one medic, one sniper, you can guess the rest?

Please someone look at their stats, I tried to warn them via the text but they carried on.

I appreciate that there could be many threads regarding this but the one above is locked when you register.

You have to register to post there. If you want to make a good report, include screen shots, links to their stats, and any other evidance you can dig up.

hell, as commander on wake island i simply use artillery to wipe those little plane whores off the face of the earth while they wait for their little J10.

and snipers get the knife... except stupid claymores give them an advantage now.

I don't stat pad and i think tattle tales suck...

NOt one person has ever been able to give one example of how stat padding affects their gaming experience in a negative way; other than they are just anal about how other people play the game in regards to their own gaming beliefs....

Stat padders don't ruin game play. Trainers and DLL/Chams ruin gameplay. Spend your time catching the real cheaters..

when you turn every corner and get killed by a tank camper, and so does everybody on your team, that is DAMN well a negative experience.

try playing the game yourself, with me in a LAV at your base.... soon well hear some expletives from you...

and stat padders affect the game negatively in exactly the same way as cheaters: killing you every time, unfairly and ruining your game, as well as getting undeserved stats themselves.

Padders can be a pain in the arse.
If you've got a bunch of padders on your team while you're trying to actually play, they are a huge hinderance to getting anything done.

Then there's the griefer based padding tactics that involve pinning someone between two abusers and totally destroying their game.

Also, there's some folks out there that take their rankings and ladder positions quite seriously. It's unfair to them when they work for their points only to be surpassed by some shmoe that figured out ways to beat the system.

Myself, I'm a moderate. I really don't care much about what other people are doing. Still, I'm also a believe in karma. The crap you do should come back to you. If karma needs a little helping hand, so be it.

You have absolutely no clue as to what we are talking about. Camping and stat padding are two different things.. And camping is not an unfair tactic.. I'll give you some advice - If someone is camping a tank, you may want to stop popping your ass out in front of them..

You can also have people AFK, or people waiting on jets or helli's, which are helping your team about as much as a padder... :)

Those who take rank and position seriously, have every right to do so, but hardly can blame their anger on padders. Alot would say that it is a game and stats mean nothng, to get bent out of shape over stats is a waste of energy and life..

Now getting pinned would suck, but there are ways out of that, including leaving the server.. At least you know when you are getting pinned and raped; cheaters using trainers and chams are usually unknown..

I am all for karma, but i'll let karma run its course on its own, at least in a game..:)

Spawn camping is a form of stat padding. You kill players as they spawn and before they have time to defend themselves. You suffer no harm and rack up a ton of kills and points. This raises your score, lowers the other teams score and ruins the game for those on the other end.

People who sit off in a corner killing each other, lower the score and ruin the game for those trying to play it and win.

Perhaps you're the one not fully aware of what padding is. It comes in many different forms and includes many actions. In the simplest form, it is doing something to artificially add points to your score without genuine effort on your part. It allows you to move forward and removes the team aspect of the game which detracts for other players.

For all the reasons the gimp gave, they do affect my play.

I don't care if two guys go off and stat pad together. What I hate is when I join a ranked server and all of a sudden read "KNIFES AND PISTOLS ONLY! KNIVES AND PISTOLS ONLY OR YOU'LL GET BOOTED!" On one server I warned them that it's stat padding and in breach of their ranked server contract and they finally said they were just joking. The second server booted me because I got sarcastic and started calling out "NO KILLING! NO RUNNING!" It annoys me, and even though I know I look childish getting upset about it, because 1) it takes a while to log into server, especially a Special Forces server, and 2) it's just stupid. If you want to play with just knives and pistols then play a game designed for just knives and pistols, or log onto a server that has maps specifically made for that. Who wants to play Karkand like that?!

Completely off subject but I just rememembered something else from that first experience (when they said they were just joking). I got called a hacker because i shot someone with my handgun from a good distance and killed them as they shot wildly at me (missing and getting a few hits in).

sure point accumulation leads to ranks that in turn leads to weapon unlocks... but in truth, the fastest way to earn points is to just play for the objective (cap flags, defend flags, pass out ammo/packs, kill people).

So someone has a silly little badge you don't and they got it by hiding in a corner with a buddy in a public server instead of just playing normally.

Wow, time to uninstall, just can’t have any of that.

So you're saying that those guys off in the corner running tickets out with every kill they get don't detract from the gameplay?

Let me repeat the point in question, because it bears repeating. Your team loses points when someone dies. That being the case, those guys could cost you the round. That does not affect your game? You could be having an awesome time with your buddies while the round ends prematurely because two idiots are playing "punch the clown" in cyberspace. It would seem you do not understand the point here.
