I've been wondering about this for awhile and then I saw that hack video with the full auto SRAW and god hack.

It goes like this, I'm playing on Wake and I'm with two guys. We see this PLA AntiTank (I think it's been awhile) sneaking up on one of our bases so we go to intercept. He takes out the two guys with me, nothing special. But I dumped a full DAO load on him (12 shots?) at close range while he's fumbling with his weapons. I think he was out and checking what else he had. Anyways, I dump a full pistol clip on him also. Then finally someone spawned and finished him off.

I know for certain he wasn't a medic, I think Assault or AntiTank and a low rank. He had 4 people shoot him up. He just came straight to us then after he took out the two guys with me he was just standing there.

I'm a first sarge with about 200 hours and this is the first time I've seen something like this. At first I thought it was lag but...I dunno.

Just curious, what do you guys think?

I've often wondered about that too. Especially with the PKM standoff's I'm in. I'll literally be face to face with a PKM holding a G3. I unload half my clip in him before he can go prone and start firing but of course, I die not him.

I've pretty much accepted that it had to be lag. Although in your case it seems like that guy was ****ing superman or something lol

I'm thinking it is a hack, but it is so hard to accuse and prove someone has a hack that I'm not going to say anything. Perhaps it was a gigantic lag spike on your end. Or someone was downloading something or something was happening on your internet that resulted in packets not being sent.

That video you saw was a mod for singleplayer. It's not a hack. Just a tweaked game.

Yeah this happened to me too. This guy on the other team wasn't movin at all (qiute sure he was idle) so i pulled out my pistol cuz i have like only 16 pistol kills. I shot him 5 times in the head and I'm like "WTF?!" because he still didnt die. (I know he was antitank cuz he was holding the launcher) All of a sudden he pointed straight in the air and shot 5-7 shots. Then he pointed at me and typed "LOL!" and then shot me in the face and I died.

Other time: I saw this guy on Karkand and I was USMC. I saw this MEC guy named Johhnyla. (I don't think this was his fault) I started shooting at him and at the left it started saying "Don't Hurt your teammates!" over and over again. He also had a red tag, so I knew he must have been on the other team. I walked up to him when he was prone and knifed him and the game counted it as a TK. But I know he didnt see it that way cuz he didnt
A.) Punish
B.) Didnt say "WTF?" after I killed him a bunch of times.

if someone leaves and ur shooting right when they live they dont die just wait for the game to say that he left.

I didn't know about the leaving thing, however, he was still active he moved from side to side then ran a bit and that's when someone else finished him. At first I thought it was lag but it didn't seem like the usual lag spikes I get from time to time.

I know the vid was a mod, it just got me thinking what if those noobs figured out how to turn a god mode on/off?

I don't know, in my 200 hours this is the one that stands out the most.

Anyone else have some interesting things like this happen to them? Think by now we've all gotten the punish for killing a verified enemy. I'm waiting to get banned when the server glitches and says I [J-10] an admin on Karkand.

That sort of thing has happened to me plenty. I think it's lag and crappy coding. I've had bs like that too. Once game I unloaded a DAO on a guy in the building and he unloaded his clip on me too and we were both alive. Then we both got out our pistols and started shooting. Finally a tank outside shot inside the building and killed us both. Another time, I was laying prone with the PKM, I knew a guy was rounding a corner. I sat waiting for him, saw him, probably got 15 close range chest shots off and he shot his G36E a couple times while running forward and killed me. I don't know. I've never been happy with the shooting mechanics of the game.

Don't know what it was, but I get in similar situations too often. At full health as an assault, I'm aiming at long range and waiting for a guy that's behind a corner. He comes out with a roll to lie down, and before he is fully on the ground i'm dead with a first shot from G36c. I know that there are people a lot more skilled then me, but sometimes, i get killed in an impossible way.

Once I was killed with DAO from about 20m with the first shot, I was also at full health.

I'm thinking it's probably lag, but sometimes, I just don't know.

Figure in to that sometimes the game F's up and rewards the kill to a diffrent type of weapon..and most times when do you notice the guy your huntings name..
So you might have thought it was him, but been hit from behind by guy a guy who spawned on him etc.. many likely things could have happened.

THO..the DAO seems very weak lately..I dont knwo why..

The only thing i can think of was that there were medic bags lying about.

Doubt it was a hack. A play AT all the time and many times I had situations where I would unload full DAO clip at an enemy point blank, close range, and he did not die. DAO is unpredictable. And I have a good 90 hours played with it on my accounts.

I've shot people so many times before without result. Most notably 17 headshots in a row with the L96A1 on one guy from all of 10 meters away without any damage. I figure he would have at some point wondered "huh, I'm getting shot an aweful lot" and looked around, but nothing. I figure he had no idea he was getting shot. Either that or he was unconcerned 'cause he was hacking, but I'm inclined to go with a bug.

The one thing that stands out to me is that NOT ONCE has anyone bitched about ME not dying. Makes me wonder...

Guess I will dismiss it as a bug/lag. That was the first time that's happened to me so I wasn't sure what to make of it. I didn't have many complaints with 1.20 but it seems like 1.21 got a lot more buggy.

It's going to get to the point where we won't be sure if it was a bug or hack now.
