Server refuses connection

Hi guys

Just wondering if anybody else had that problem as well.....
I couldn't play BF2 all weekend, because the account server refused the connection when I want to lock-in to my account.

That happened before a couple of times. Usually I just have to wait a few hours or a day and it's fixed, but this time i was the whole weekend!

Anybody got any suggestions???

ok do the following:

turn off firewall

or

play on safe mode

or

Scan for spyware which is hogging ports

I just bought a new laptop from dell which has a 7800 GTX go and 2.0 ghz core duo with 1 gig ram and when i tried to play BF2 on it, it brought up the same message too. Its been like this for a week already and i cant play. Please help me.

I'm having the same problem do you think it is the norton internet security firewall installed on my coputer causing it?

i have norton too..maybe he is causing a trouble?
