Is EF worth it.

Is it worth me paying out $10/£6 for EF? I have read some of the posts and I don't think anyone is impressed.


This next bit should be in the modding area I know!!

If anyone wants something better than EF there is silent-thunder.
But can anyone here do any nodding suff, like mapping, coding, animation,

I'd suggust that you wait until it actually comes out before you make your mind up based on others peoples opinions.

Though as usual those happy with it will be busy playing it while those unhappy will be posting here :)

$10? Yes, quite worth it. The maps run a lot better than the SF ones do and they are just over all fun. Great Wall is a little iffy, but still fun to play. The Euro weapons are the cat's pajamas.

Honestly, I think the 3 maps are a great selection of different gamestyles. You get a wide open air and armor battle and you get a great infantry map. That and the Euro vehicles are sweet!

Shawn, will SF SAS maps be changed from M1A2 Abrams tanks to Challenger 2s, for increased accuracy?

i have heard from many who agree that now there is an official challenger 2 model, they should definitely equip the SAS maps with it.

I'm still on the fence here, love the BF series, have bought everything it's produced, but this one, and the hokey downloader, I dunno.

I don't like any of the maps that much.

Operation Smoke Screen is the best of the bunch, but even that one is going to devolve into mutual-baseraping so one side can gain air superiority.

well, considering a lot of servers will probably be running ef....it might do some good to actually get it, other wise you might be playing for several hours, map changes, and you gotta find yourself a new server.

my server of choice i alwyas play on had announced it will be running ef maps.

I just changed my server which is full most of the time to Euro Forces, so heck ya it's worth it..
