At this point I am past simple irritation.
What-in-T-bloody-F will it take for this game to run well?

Whatever...

Anyway.

No servers show in browser....well, I got the Christain Gamers server once.

Thankfully I have favorites available.

Unfortunately, of the ones I have, most disconnect- before even loading the map, I receive a "Connection to the server has been lost" message.

Of the ones I have been able to get into, the connection is horrendous.
About every five seconds or so, I am getting the yellow message on screen stating that "There is a problem with your connection."

Have rebooted, et. Never any problems prior to this with server or connections, at least not like this, not even close.
Any help would be great.

my friend is having the exact same problems. what's your system specs

we seem to notice it on low latency servers, anything that's 300+ works fine.

Remember how long it took them to get BF1942 to work as well as it does today? It took almost 6 months probably closer to 1 year. But now its known for its online play and the mod Desert Combat which made it super popular.

Look at any other games. Think of what a complex system of coding BF2 is. Not only does it record stats, game action, have VoIP, among other things it has some of the largest worlds in FPS.

Have you rebooted your modem lately.
You may want to do a traceroute as well to see where your problems are.

Try the modem reboot first, if that don't work, we'll go to the next step.
