SF icon disappeared after 1.21 patch

my special forces icon on my desktop disappeared so can someone right click on their SF icon, then click properties, and copy & paste the target? i've checked in all the BF2 folders and i have .ico icon but not the .exe for SF.

there should be another shortcut under your programs/ea folder.

Just copy the main exe to desktop as a shortcut. Also if you dont like that icon then just use what ever. People try to make things to complicated!

Point your new icon to:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/xpack +ignoreAsserts 1

ok so i figured out why it disappeared. i have a program called tune-up utilities and i did a clean on my registry and thats what made them go away for some reason. even in the start menu too.

ok so i know the target but i need one more thing. in the properties there is a white box called start in:. could someone plz post what they have in there?

That's what my little white box says to start in. Include the quotes.
