    FRAPS causing VERY strange bug

Ok this is really weird when i was running fraps it was almost like someone else was controlling me, if i pressed forward i would keep going forward and then maybe move left or right, shoot some etc. the only thing i could control was movement of the mouse. I exited fraps and everything was fine. I started it up again and this bug happened, any ideas on whats causing it?

No.. He doesn't "need" anything, I play with my Radeon 9550 128MB and the only time it happens is when the server is in Holland or something.

Yes, you are hitting f11 (or whatever key you have set to recording a video) and FRAPS is recording videos of BF2 in the background and screwing everything up (eating up all your processing power).

Check your fraps directory and if you have a million .avi files there, there is your answer Disable video capture in FRAPS

Are you sure you're looking in the right place? If you're pushing the video capture button and suddenly your fps falls through the floor, you're recording. The default location is c:/fraps (not c:/program files/fraps). There's a movie and picture folder. Good luck!

Re: FRAPS causing VERY strange bug

my fps is fine (at least its the same as usual) the only problem is that say i press forward i will move forward only after 3 or so seconds. I have checked the right folder, there is no video there

seems that ive found the root of the problem, i was running Bf2 under high cpu priority, so i put fraps on high aswell and it worked!!
