Exactly...my localization file changes still work after updating to v1.21...so what's the deal with these ones?

I just followed the guide and changed my localization files manually. Is the guide specific to the older BF2 (pre 1.21 patch)? Do I have to redo my edits or does it not matter? btw, thank you SaladFork, I love your work, lol.

There's nothing wrong with the localization files.

Saladfork changed some stuff. You know something like newbie to noob.

look at the first page of this it has two download links.

Localization files are located C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Localization\English or whatever language you speak.

I just used these for the first time and it's SO cool!!! They should make these a part of the game and not a mod. Makes everything a lot simpler and clean!

Also he probably added the new weapons, and UAV, since if you used the old one after installing 1.2 you'd get [WEAPON_KILLMESSAGE_l96a1] or you'd see [VEHICLE_KILLMESSAGE_uav] when the UAV was over head.

hey guys , how can i easily change all the orange indicators (such as names of people you shoot, bonus points etc) to green, the same green as used by squad chat?

i use a 5000 dollar toshiba DLP projector to play BF2 on, and green used by squad chat seems to be the most visible by far. orange is actually the least visible, which is why id like to change this.

As far as we know as of now, there is no way to change text color to anything but that orange.

                          what? aw man, thats horrible!

orange is the worst color for my projector.... how is that possible? isnt it just a simple text color thing, like those guys who change the color on theirs?

what about those people who change their name and color online?

and how do i make my name big, so i can tell when i shoot somebody? i only want my name to be big for ME obviously.
