st got my 500 pistol kills, and will go now for my expert pistol badge, I actualy think it will be as hard as the knife badge, will be some head breaking hours to come (again)
Worked my @$$ off for basic but I got my Vet on chance. It was on Iron Gator and right in the start I got a few knife kills no big deal. Then I saw a guy capping a flag so I dive and knife him....but he's still there!! It was like 4 guys laying on top of eachother so I just kept knifing away.
Nearly got expert on Wake with a load of dumb snipers and medics. Snuck up on a bed a snipers and knifed 4 or so. Left, then a medic came. The snipers just went back to sniping and I knifed them again. Then again till one of the snipers came back with a DAO. Got to love medics that don't check before reviving.
It's hard to knife for me. I think I have lag issues. I've even heard my knife slice into someone before and they didn't die. I don't try knifing unless I think I can sneak up on them... I haven't tried to get veteran yet.
i got my basic knife fighting....i had over 30 knifes before so i just joined somewhere where there was a knife fight and away i went. Got my basic 8 kills then left. i had never tried before because i would always get purple hearts
i dont now how people cant get the basic knife badge? I got mine without trying, and im not even that good with the knife. My tip is when u see a medic rush to revive a teamate he will nearly allways dive onto the ground, this si your chance to dive next to him and knife ; if you really want to annoy him wait untill he revives then u can kill both of them. Hope it helps
It's also good to after supports since they have to go prone for accuracy. Medics are easier though
Just got my Basic and Vet badges today on Wake. Good Map to do this on. Especially considering everyone get's bunched up and focused in one direction, also the uniforms look really similar.
I have found that anti-tank guys like to focus on armor. I got a couple knife kills by sneaking up from behind. Also, the guys in the land-based AA guns tend to focus on the sky looking for air threats. They are juicy knifing targets.

naaaah... it is way more easier to get the expert pistol badge than the expert knife badge... The expert explosives bad badge is also damned har to get and if you after it dont try to get it on servers with admins becouse they will kick you
