Does patching to 1.21 cause a problme if ?

I installed BF2 then patched it up to 1.2

Today I bought special forces and installed it, then saw 1.21 was available so patched it to that, but only after installing special forces.
Whilst SF was installing it said patching game to 1.1, did it revert to 1.1 or what.

Anyway problem is I can still play the BF2 maps online, but when I try a SF map I get the error message, that it only supports unmodded content revert my BF2 to the current official version, which of course 1.21.should be.

Any ideas.

try patching to 1.2 and then 1.21 again, if it doesnt work, unistall everything (sf and bf2). then reinstall in this order

Install bf2
Install sf
Patch 1.21 (full patch, not incremental)

if you do it in that order then it should fix your problems :)

I just reinstalled 1.2 then 1.21 this worked fine so I'm up and running.
