Patch 1.21 Not Working!

Having problems with the patch. I installed the full patch four times and the incremental twice. All following a restart. I can't play any of my servers in my favs list, they are all red. At the top right of my screen it says 1.1.2696-528.0 is that my version number which would imply that I never updated? This is killin me. Please help, i can't waste another night NOT playing...

So what am I doing wrong?

seems you're still @ 1.2 not 1.21.
uninstall bf2 and do a fresh install, then install SF if you have it. afterwards apply full patch (1.21)

ok, thats what I figured. But really didn't wanna do it. Will I be able to just use patch 1.21 or will i have to patch it with all of the previous????

I didnt know they had a full 1.21 patch I thought it was only an incrmental.

well I hope it works for you. I'm not sure why it didn't for me, bad luck I guess. It worked fine for my brother and so far everybody else I have herd from. So cross your fingers.

Yes there is an incremental and a full. But if you can obviously use the incremental. GOOD LUCK, I wish re-installs on NO ONE!:laugh:

Oh btw reinstall worked just fine, it patched with no problems this time. No I have to get my video settings just right again. Small price I guess.

Its probably better to reinstall the game anyway and patch 1.2 & 1.21 incremental.
I had to reinstall BF2 for the 1.2 patch because of really bad lag, now it runs nice and smooth.
