Well i think low/med maybe becuse the of the Speed of the CPU


but make sure that you get all the least drivers and stuff have you even try playing the game i whould like to know

I have BF2 on my desktop, but i need a laptop. The sony seemed a good balance of power/portability.

The model up, which i found for £1,150 has a 1.83 ghz processor. I can also upgrade ram to 2gb. What should i get then?

You will probably be able to run everything on a mix of medium and high @ your native resolution, but textures on medium or low because you have only a gig of ram.

The ram can be upgraded to 2gb at a reasonable cost later on. Does BF2 support widescreen?

Your CPU is fine (speed wise), its just your vid card and your RAM.
