Can't play Wake

Every time I try to play Wake I get a message saying I have a modified version of BF2 and to revert to the previous version. It is on official EA servers, and it is since I installed the latest patch. Anyone else have this problem...p.s all other maps are ok

Try re-installing the patch again. Might fix it. Only takes a minute, so you nothing nothing to lose.

Try reinstalling the patch until it does fix it as it's the only way.

The Wake map is included with the patch.

I had this same problem out of nowhere for a few days, but the new patch fixed it.

wasn't Wake part of the 1.02 (or 1.03) patch in October?

Was Wake Island a custom made map that the devs liked so much they put into the BF2 or was it when EA hadn't realised that making free maps to the public makes too many people happy at the same time?
