    Accuracy

Anyone know how its calculated in BF2?

Is it determined by number of shots fired compared to the number that hit, or is it based on kills vs deaths

Also if its shots vs hits, is it the number of hits anywhere, or just number of killing hits, would for example hitting someone 3 times in the foot, and not killing them, be classed as more accurate than hitting them once in the head and killing them?

If you stab a tank, or shoot a tank with a pistol, and hit it, does that count as an accuracy hit?

is the shock paddles based on revives, ond not kills, as i've seen ppl with 60+ accuracy, but no kills with them

    Re: Accuracy

It is based on bullets hit, after all that is what accuracy is I think for the second question you are asking how the bullet spread works. As for that I only know a little about it. From what I know it is like a Cone the smallest part being the barrel of the gun and the end of the cone being where it is aimed or where you hit. For the more accurate guns a tighter cone, and the less a wider. I think that the bullet generation is random, but don’t hold me against that. As for the knife and pistol on a tank, I believe it would count for a knife as long as the hit crosshair came up, but im assuming a pistol counts too for the same reason. My guess is shock paddles are based on when they are used effectively. So if you are running down the street just setting your paddles off on the walls would make it go down in accuracy, but as long as you hit something, i.e. enemy or critically wounded teammate it counts as a hit.
