Use Sony Vegas and your problems will be solved. It's initial "pick up and edit" ease is ideal for beginners but you greatly progress to better things than Premiere Pro with more experience of all the features in Vegas.

Re: Tutorial for Adobe Premirere Pro 1.5
I picked up and started editing with adobe premiere pro 1.5
Editing programs have the same concept basicly. All you gotta know is minor things such as where everything is located in each program. I had adobe premiere pro exp and i was able to pick up final cut pro on a mac and edit how i usually do..
So once you know the basics of editing (drag, dropping, and slicing) you should be able to expand from there.
(by the way, what exact do you need help with..? everything in general or something specific)Comment

Lol, now you definitely need Vegas, I think the title designer in Premiere is a little limiting in terms of what it doesn't allow apposed to Vegas, where everything is potentially possible in the same program.
Just find a template, change the text, colour/outline... that's about it.
Using a combo of Photoshop and Vegas you can do some pretty cool things. My titles are done and... Your have to wait till I have a movie to put them on. There’s a sound FX and non-sound FX version, and it's no unoriginal THX sound test rip where text appears either.

Adobe after effects does titles..
I picked up vegas to try some titles out, but ended up using after effects for them (I didnt have time to relearn how vegas does their keyframes). Anyways, the titles are not the important part of the movie, the actual content isComment

Combustion is another good program that does titles well, Sir. Slide said it was easier then after effects. I haven't tried titles yet because I'm still mostly training in combustion for lighting effects, I'm satisfied with Vegas, for now, but you can never learn too much.Comment
