Any StarCraft mod would be shutdown. One was tried for BFV but was eventually shut down by Blizzard. It's a shame, would've been fun too.

Done before.
Some team was pretty far awhile back on BF;V with their SC mod, lots modeled and in-game. Then blizzard comes along threatens to sue, thats the last i saw of it. Could make a mod similar to the SC game but thats all///

would anyone play a retro style (1950s) Scifi mod of earth vs. the martians?
With flying saucers, rayguns and other stuff?
you could play as civilians (Police, Farmers, Gangsters and others), Army/civil defense corps., or the martians?
think classic scifi. besides, wouldnt it be cool? we could have an NYC rubble cityscape map and stuff.....

im just interested to know something - all these threads on what mod would you play, would this be good etc etc... what are you trying to get out of this? choosing a theme based on people's responses in a forum isnt going to guaruntee a successful mod nor will it boost one's ability to recruit

the only surefire answer to your question at this point of time is

"what kind of mod would you want to play?"

answer - 'one tht's finished!!!'

Starcraft such a great game, i remember when that was like my life. Now i am on to bigger and better things like this sweet game, Battle Field 2, Have you guys heard of it?

right now..the best starcraft-like mod is Natural Selection for Half Life (yes its old but wicked fun) basically its marines vs aliens..u can be either one and u get upgrades for the amount of xp u have (resets each round) and for aliens..tehy can evolve into bigger creatures..i was pretty addicted to it for a few months

Well id play, heck id love to try and contribute to something of the sort, even tho im a newbie to 3DS Max im getting better. If we would ask Blizzard before they might not get angry (it dosnt help that their kinda small) But like i said, id love that. Theres a Red Alert 2 Mod being worked on but this would be great too.
