I have an SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS soundcard and Before 1.21 my surround sound was working fine playing the game and now AFTER the patch, I only get sound out of the rear speakers while playing BF2. Has anyone else had a similar problem

Freaky but I had a similar problem with my Audigy 2 ZS yesterday; but is was before patching. All my sound was comming from the left yet the control panel showed no problems under 5.1.
I fixed it by unplugging and reinserting my cables. Then I had to go back and recalibrate the surround 5.1 in the EAX console. (Yes, even my callibration settings were gone.)
Perhaps it is a coincidence . . . -

Well, I have tried recalibrating the speakers, and run thru the demos and they sound great but still only getting sound from the rear speakers when playing BF2
I got my surround sound to work again, I downloaded the full 1.21 patch this time instead of the incremental and everything is back up and running again. Nice to be able to hear someone trying to sneak up on me rather than getting knifed and then realize it, LOLComment
