BF2 in game stats

Okey.. I have been wondering a long time if there something f*cked up with the BF2 ingame stats...

Take my profile:

Defibrilators: Deaths 278.. WTF!!! I have never been killed 278 times by some shockpaddles...

Heck, I havent been killed more than max 10 times by those..

Firstly,I thought the kit-equipment K/D ratio were based on how many times u have killed with a particular weapon, and how many times u have been killed by that weapon.. But thats wrong..

Its based on how many times u have killed with the weapon, and how many times u have died, with the selected weapon in ur hands..

So if I start a new account, and kills 10 people with my assault rifle,... Than I will get 10 kills with it... But if a sniper, or a tank, kills me, while I am equiped with my assault rifle, I will get a death with that weapon.. Wich is pretty f*cked up...

So my guess is, that I must have been killed 273 times, while I have been equiped with my shockpaddles (To revive others)... Wich doenst really make sense either, since its an incredible high ammount, and I almost never play Medic..

And secondly: I have never killed people 246 times with the shockpaddles.. LOL..

Again.. Max 10 times, or something..

So my guess is, that I must have been killed 273 times, while I have been equiped with my shockpaddles (To revive others)... Wich doenst really make sense either, since its an incredible high ammount, and I almost never play Medic..

LOL.. If it had been true.. Yeah..

Same goes for a friend of mine, wich started a new account a couple of weeks ago.. He´s about 10k, and have 148 deaths by shockpaddles, and 0 kills.. He dont even have his Basic Medic badge, cause he dont like to play as a medic..

And he´s an above average player, yet 148 deaths by Shockpaddles...

Shock Paddle Deaths = number of times you were killed while holding your shock paddles.

Read my post clearly:

About the K/d with any selected weapon:

And thats my point.. I almost never use my "shock paddles"... (Cause I dont play much as a medic) .. So I have never been killed 273 times, while equiped with my paddles, trying to revive a team mate

That was what I was clearing up.

As for your main point...sometimes how BF2 gets its stats is one of the world's greatest mysteries.

Ugh...look, what I'm telling you is that is what the stat is SUPPOSED to mean. Nothing is what it is supposed to mean in this game.

Don't worry about your silly stats so much and play the game

Thats my point, and therfore why I made this topic, cause it dont make any sense... And it reaøøy annoys me, with the 278deaths by shockpaddles.. Cause it aint true...

The same goes for 246 kills with the shockpaddles, wich aint true either (Even though it dont bother me as much )

Seriously, why care about what you've been killed with? It's a game, and live with your stats. :)

Its a game, thats true... But still u have ur stat sig, linked to ur posts.. Cause its cool... It gives us a view of ur progress... How good u actually are, compared to other players,,
