Confusion.......

Ok, now this is wierd......

I downloaded the patch last night, installed it and then went to bed....
I click on the BF2 icon on my desktop and start loading BF2.... Loads up perfectly then realise that the BF2 DVD and BF2:SF DVD are not in the DVD Trays but it still loads up?

Have EA given me the ability to play BF" without having the DVDs in the PC?!?

Not only that, but when I click on MP only 449 servers are running 1.21? Quit and see that the 1.21 Patch is 40MB big but the one I have is only 15MB?

Dunno about the first part, I'll have to give that a try. However regarding the second part, the patch is only 15MB because it's actually a hotfix to repair the major bugs that 1.2 introduced, such as not being able to play certain SF maps becuase it would crash etc.

Patch 1.3 will be the next one that fixes gameplay etc.

Just tested this myself, but I was asked to insert the DVD..
