I like your theory.
They can just be testing the map for AF. If it isnt im guessing its probley a free map to download somewhat like Aerial Combat map.

@ Post above. The Patch is already here so um, No. PLus it was only a small hotfix, Nothing spectacular.

Unfortunately no. The 3 Armored Fury maps are “Midnight Sun”, “Operation Harvest” and “Operation Road Rage."
