What is this? An official EA German ranked custom map server?

Not a custom map. It's an euro force server. Some of them are out in Germany.

Are you talking about the highlighted map or the one a few below it? The one that says "EA DE **DOC** Custom Raning" and is playing "Operation: Blackhawk?"

Man you all don't pay attention to detail. I never heard of the map operation: blackhawk for one. Second I thought it was against EA ranked servers rules to put custom maps on ranked servers. Third this looks like a EA server. Though I could be wrong. SOOO just wondering is EA make another map pack? or this some German clan that has there own, and doing something there not? Plus I already have the EF booster, hence that the EF servers are not red.

It's a group of people testing the upcoming game. It is infact from Euro Forces, and not a custom map. There have been servers testing these maps for a while now.

guys he is talking about the red server in the list, not the one displayed to the right of the image. i never heard of such a map: operation blackhawk

I've never heard of the custom map named that, so it's possible it's testing for armored fury?

Eitherway it's got to be testing for something, lets just all hope for a new free map :d

I believe it is a custom map, (search google for it)

I only do not understand why it is ranked, maybe it is ranked, but not at EA, but somewhere else??

I know of an "Operation Black Hawk Down" map, but not this before. Though, EA releasing a patch with a new map? Chances are low ...

Dont know why it's ranked but it isn't for EF.

EA could do with giving us a map or two like they did with Wake to apologise for all the ****e we have to put up with while trying to enjoy BF2.

@ Post above. The Patch is already here so um, No. PLus it was only a small hotfix, Nothing spectacular.

Operation Black Hawk Down is a custom map for BF2.


If you have ftp access to your ranked server then you can host custom maps on ranked servers. This happened a lot when the game first came out. Don't know if it's the case here though.
