When is everyone updateing there servers, i don't want to uninstall my BF2 just to get rid of this patch, darn i should have probally waited.

The server rental companies are the only ones that can really answer that question. There are about 10-15 major providers of ranked servers (approximately), each one has different scheduls I would imagine.

Ranked servers are bound by an agreement which stops them from patching until the official release date.

can ranked servers be unpatched? like 1.12 so ppl can reinstall to get the explosive badge

No, one of the conditions to being a ranked server is to maintain the latest patch.

just do a same version only filter in the in-game browser and you should find a server quick style

This is correct, we aren't allowed to run old versions of the game, it has to be the most current version.
