ATI graphics card fixes in patch 1.21

I am just wondering, I havent got the new patch yet cause all I have heard nothing but bad things about it so far. one of the main fixes is the new patch is the ati card fixes. I really dont have any problem with my card (ATi x850 xt pe) except at the beginning of the game where there is very bad lag, but it smooths out within seconds. Also I have some problems with the some of the shadows not showing correctly: pixilated shadows mostly. I am curious about the people that are having major Ati card problems, and what are some of them?

I don't have an ATI card, but from what ive heard it has fixed your shadow rendering problems.

I have noticed the exact same problem playing bf2 and I have a 9800 pro.

IT always lags out crazy at the beginnig and there are some serious shadow shading problems too on almost all maps...especially when flying.
