  • SF Lag a lot 2GB increase will help?

Hey I cant play sf its so laggy WARLORD the laggiest map i ever play on.
I was thinking if i put 2GB this will help to get rid of that lag?
I know the game will load faster, but it will run faster or not???
How much RAM i must have to run textures on high and no lag?
    Any help appreciated.

Yeah. He means a new power supply unit. And it is possible that you're straining yours IF you have a 240W PSU. Your new vid card may require a 350W PSU (many do). Don't go bonkers though, very, very few even hardcore gamers are pulling more than 400-500W over their PSU's. It just makes the "heater" part of your pc more expensive.

My best guess? You'll be able to play with little lag after you get your new vid card, as long as it's a fairly modern one (ATI greater than x700, nvidia greater than 6600.)

I get a lag free, high frame rate, very enjoyable game out of my p4 3.0, x800xt, and 1gb pc3200 ram. The 9600xt 256mb I had in before that was still a champ, but I had to turn the eye candy way down.

            Good luck.
