hey i just got a new soundcard, audigy 2 value and it has like 3 things where u can plug things into it...am i supposed to plug something into it?

It depends what kind of speaker setup you have, but probably it's the plugs for the speakers, the mic, and the other thing i forget. But just match the colors. Plug your speakers into the green. Good luck -
