Hey can anyone tell me if it is possible to change our current name,i used to belong to a squad but no more want name change. Without having to creat new account and lose my unlocks. If not ea should have an option to submit name change to them and have them do it,that way they can track people making name changes. It sucks being stuck with a name or when you want to join a squad your stuck!!! someone help please or can administrator help with this? thx all.

Roger that,but that really sucks. When a person wants to join a squad they cant change their name without losing everything arg!!!! i dont care so much about stats i do care about weapon unlocks lol. thx fellas for replies.

Muuaaahahahahahhahahaha....Never put your clantag into your permanent game name. That is what the prefix is for. Besides, it's like getting a tattoo of a bands name, you would have never thought the New Kids On The Block would have fizzled out did you?

Yah i didnt know about prefix,still dont where is it? is it at log in?

Yup, when you log in it is the very top line. You can enter your prefix. I believe it is up to 5 characters, maybe 6. I would delete the account and start from scratch. The bright side is:
-Less Mistakes
-Better kill:death ratio
-Less team kills
-Unlock your favs first instaed of "wondering"
-More structure for earning medals (if you are into that at all)

Keep in mind that the prefix box was only added a few patches ago.

When I bought the game, there was no option for a prefix (I think they added the prefix in 1.02...or something)

And yes, it's at the login screen listed as "prefix"

thats a good idea, i would do it to hopefully improve my K/D ratio, SPM and such, but i have invested a lot of play time in this one and have made progress in medals and badges and ranks.

Unfortunately, they aren't real. :)

I know how you feel though. While I could imagine playing medic, assualt, and engineer without any of the unlocks, what kind of useless putz would I be running around Karkand with the AT's stock SMG? And support without the PKM? Spec ops without the G36C? And MEC sniper without the M95? Freakin' yuck.

It's taken me since August to put up the three hundred hours I've needed to get the unlocks I like to use. megawhompertoo may sound silly, but if I hear you laughin' in game, I'll pop an e-bullet in your e-bubble goose.
