What voices and languages will the *cough* "Euro Army" - (over my dead body btw) have?

lemme guess... British ground troops as no other Europeans will actually ever place their troops in danger

US, Ukranian and Turkish pilots - thanks to crap spending in most euro defence budgets there is no real strategic airlift caperbility for any proposed force ironically meaning its dependant on others to actually ferry around the troops!

VERY good point!!
Personally I still think that its just DICE making a token gesture to its European Client base. Ok they did give SAS in SF but to band all Europeans together especially in this manner is a big insult to some of us!

I wouldn't get that ****ed about it. There's speculation that the EU may someday become a country and since BF2 takes place in the near future, this may be what they're trying to say. Don't argue with me though, thats just what some people are saying, i don't really take a position in that theory. Although, i do find it likely that the EU would field an army if a war (such as the one taking place in BF2) came along.

Both very true, currently the only thing close to this happening is the European Union force in the former Yugoslavia which isn't an actual euro army and still dependant on NATO too much.

Europe is a very big conitent on par with the USA in size terms, but due to its 'age' (so to speak) is very different in cultural terms between nations. Trust me the EU has enough problems with things such as deciding how much tension a seatbelt must have in cars used within member states and therefore will never be able to handle something as big as merging armed forces!! :laugh:
Think of it as people telling you Americans that you can't bear firearms and thats still not even close to how passionate and sensitive the majority of europeans feel about such a proposed army!
DICE were able to create seperate "good" and "bad" (to simplfy" forces with SF so how hard could it been to create the British Army, German and French as seperate identities?
