am i the only one that does this???

whenever i'm about to capture a flag, before i even get near a flag, i ALWAYS create a squad!

more than 80% of the time, someone will "magically" join your squad.

    this does two things:

    1. it helps captures the flag faster - especially if you're initally just by yourself
    2. it helps you defend that flag in case the enemy tries to retake that flag

so again, if you're not in a squad and you're about to approach/capture a flag, hit the "create a squad" key (mine is the "insert" key) and watch as teammates (those who just died and are looking to re-spawn) all of a sudden starts joining your squad.

then simply leave the squad and do it again...

Yes, I do it too. Especially when playing with the clan. It's so easy, just make a squad and say "spawn on 1" or whatever the squad number is. We always do this, so we always cap the enemy main.

Hmm, I kind of do this. I always create a squad when I start (if there isn't one that needs me already) and when I need people I invite lonewolves to my squad using the 'manage squad' button.

I find that people will almost always join your squad if you invite them and they aren't already in a squad.

True, but most people are useless in a squad, and if they didn't join or create one at the start of the round, why invite them as they obviously don't play as a squad?

What I hate is when I'm in a squad or a squad leader and some doof just keeps asking me to join theirs! If you wanna be in a squad with me that bad just join mine!

Yes, I try to do this whenever I'm not currently in a squad with friends.

Problem is...most of the time I TRY to do this..the game is already full of 1 man squads (most of which are locked)

But that's not true. Most times when I start a squad and invite lonewolves it fills up in seconds. I'd need to invite about 8/9 people to get a full squad.

Would you believe that some players thank me when I invite them? It's not always because they want to play alone but don't know how to join a squad or know if they should join a squad.

Why lock the squad? If I die and am squad leader I will simply leave and re-join the squad so I can spawn back wherever I was. If someone is in the squad who refuses to play as a squad just kick them from the squad!

I guess so. I like playing as a squad too much to have people who don't in it, and if they dunno how to join then they don't.

                  Just my opinion though.

another thing that EVERYONE (in a squad) should be doing...

But only squadleaders are immune to autoswitch, right ? I think that's why there are 8 locked oneman squads at servers nowadays. Even when you get someone to join , once they get to be SL no chance they're gonna part/join teh squad.

when playing with clan members there is no better way of owning the map than constant revolving of the squad leader when trying to cap, all the best squads use this tactic,, just a pity it seems not to happen with mixed squads in open servers .. squads should be fluid ~ ok ts helps a lot 10/4 rubber duck

Not so. I've been switched as squad leader, squad member, lone wolf, and even once as COMMANDER!!

Being squad leader or member SHOULD keep you from being switched, BUT it's just a general thing, not a 100% sure way, even if it's supposed to be.
