HA! So you're the noob that keeps running to the hotel to get owned!
Man do I love killing you!

Karkand is a great map for people who:
      1) Don't like aircraft of any types.
      2) Hate the nubish tk'ing associated with said aircraft.
      3) Like constant action and enemies that are always nearby.
      4) Like to have many players on a small map.
      5) Like smaller maps that don't make their computers melt down into molten piles of slag.
      6) (Post ver1.2) Enjoy running into "claymore fields" at the southern entrance to the hotel -OR- enjoy laying "claymore fields" for you and your nub buddies that only like to rush the hotel from the southern entrance.
      7) Enjoy urban warfare.
      8) Own you on a regular basis whenever you decide to get out of your jet/helicopter and try to fight like a man.

      Love,
      No one loves you. Die.

LMAO, why would you do that?? Go to the rear, man, the rear. Hop in an apc, hummer, or just walk, and bypass all the noobs fighting for the meaningless hotel and go cap the factory, or at the very least the suburb. Ignore the hotel, let the doofs fight over it.

theres a big difference when running a server you have options to what maps you play,
point being if it wasnt ok to play just one or two maps then EA/DICE/PB would of sent emails telling the server supplys to alter there options to make it so the maps couldnt just be one type.
so to answer your question no its not stat padding

Its because people hate those other maps :)

Honestly, i 99% of the time only play Sharqi (BF2) or Ghost (SF). I dont like the other maps, so i always play a 24x7 server with one of these two maps.

I hate the chinese maps with passion! Karkland is ok, but i find players spend a lot of time racing to the other side of the map to win spawn points. So it involves a lot of traveling across non-combat areas.

Sharqi and Ghost have all of its spawn points in running distance. So conflict is concentrated and i love that.

                    Re: Is this "stat padding?"

He has got a point though but it isnt the evil sin of Stat Padding. It's more the perfectley acceptable method of Stat Boosting.

A good infantry player is far more likely to get more global points on Karkand than they are on Zatar. Higher concentration of enemy in a smaller area make it the switched on players dream.

Zatar and Songhua are slower more and team based.

Also if you want to get your knife or Pistol badge where do you go...Kubra??? I don't think so, it's the city maps.
