    I understand that one person can join another's singleplayer. I can find the ip but how does the other person get to the server? where does he put in the ip to play with me?

    is this person on the same network as you or are you trying to connect over the internet?

          go to start>run and type "cmd" and press enter. In the command prompt, type "ipconfig" and note what it says for IP Address. Once you have made the single player game, have your friend connect to that IP in Battlefield. To connect to the IP, click on "Multiplayer" in the main menu, then click on "Connect to IP"

            I put down the ip like 192.168.1.2 not a mask thing right?

              thats a router, you need to find your IP from the front end, it is on the loading screens of the single player game. You also need to open the ports on the router, theres a bunch. Once you get that up, you have whoever join in to the single player game.

                  No, do not use the above post...that is your WAN (Wide Area Network = Internet) IP.

                  You need your LAN (Local Area Network) IP...which is obtained through 'ipconfig' at the command prompt.

                    What he said . Just join with the local ip address. Usually something like 192.168.0.xxxx
