After 1.2 patch white terrain....

My terrain is always on low so i not lag when i'm in the chopper or in a plane but today i set it to medium and this what i get

Its white only when i switch to 3rd Pview.
When i bought the game i always use it on medium and it was fine.
(P.S. i think if PB take SS of me i get banned )(for Hax)

Wow, that is pretty odd, perhaps a re-install is necessary? It is a problem with the ground textures. But that should never look like that. Only in 3rd person, regular it is fine? wow

Reinstall is working if i'm not applying 1.20 patch.
BUt there is no servers for older version.
Maby there is only 3-5. half-empty.
I need to fix this problem any ideas?

So you re-installed and it works fine before the patch, but if you patch it, then you get the white textures? Did you apply the full patch or the incremental?

Have you done it like this:

Reinstall Vanilla BF2 -> apply 1.12 patch -> ok?
-> apply 1.2 patch -> white textures?
Reinstall Vanilla BF2 -> apply 1.2 full patch -> white textures?

EXACTLY! I install first time incremental because my game was 1.12 then i saw this s***t i reinstall full bf 2,install 1.2 full nothing change white terrain.Then i reinstall bf 2 again apply 1.12 patch and it was fine.

p.s. the shadows appear only when terrain is set to medium!?

Before you fired the game back up after re-installing, did you remember to clear/delete the cache folder,

C:\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

My terrain was green, uninstall and reinstall your video card divers.

Yes i delete all cache everything where was bf 2.
and yes i update/reinstall my driver.
This happen only with 1.2 all other patches was fine.

This is strange i went to SF and terrain was ok.
Its only in vanilla white terrain.

Finally i get rid of it.

Terrain: medium
Lighting: medium<---not HIGH that was the key :)
