id just like to point out that you can always grab a fallen players(fiend/foe) kit if the situation warrants so if ur palying in a team with no semblance of teamwork and u need something try to use the kit of those you killed....

i defended the American Hotel spawn point in sharqi the whole game the other night by just switching kits... started out as sniper put in some claymores..picked up an enemies support kit drop ammo and picked up my sniper kit again laid more claymores.. i dhad kill:death ratio of about 23:4 i admit luck also helped coz i know im not the the top BF2 player

If you ask me, you have 3 sorts of medics .

nr 1 : the medic who doesn'r revive, or rarely, and mostly heals himself (the selfish medic)

nr 2 : the medic who revives no mather what, even when 5 tanks are shooting at you, he will revive you, for you to get shot down again, and revive you again and again and again (the whoring medic)

nr 3 : the medic who will revive you when possible, when needed, when not under fire,who drops health packs when someone asks for it (the good medic)

no 2 may sometimes also be a stat loser/statpadder @#$%^ medic i think

i only wish people who use these kits do their job on the battlefield and not only just use the gun; ie: support and the PKM

Actually its better to play the situation more than the kits. I have found this works better than trying to limit the kits to a simple black and white definition. But thats just me. . . . . .Red

Assault Class is the backbone of your Squad or Team. They are the true MeatShield. And I don't see anyone playing them anymore... too many point whores.

-Pay attention to the capture points. If there are only a handful of us left and we have no points, the rest of our team can't spawn. Don't camp out somewhere ... go cap a flag.

Or, create a squad and be that shiny little green mobile spawn.....this is what annoys me most....no spawn, something like 5 ppl left and no one opens up a squad....

You cant have that working as long as kits dont have major disadvantages. Take away ATs secondary weapon- youve got an AT sticking in a squad, a bit back from the action and focusing on armor.

Take away snipers pistol, you have him solo, maybe even with a spotter, somewhere safe, doing some sniping and spotting.

Give SMGs to spec ops. Keep them off primary battle.

Give weak PDWs to Medics, keep them at secondary line.

Give main weaponry and firepower to those who were meant to do most of the fighting- Support and Assault.

In order to make people to do what they are siupoosed to do IN A SQUAD, force them by stripping their ability to perform "all around".

Then you have medics healing and reviving to get their scores (as they do now BTW). Mechanics repairing (some fo them do now) and so on. And if they dont like to die too much, theys tick with people who can protect them.

I am always doing this, But i recently became a medic since I got vet Supply badge I figure I would work on this.

And for support people, if someone asks for some ammo We actually need it. Medics don't have a million rounds to cap someone with.

It's been mentioned before, but when you have no flag spawn, you cannot spawn on a squad leader.

I hate being a medic on my own, its stupid and pointless, as medic my KD/R is really bad as im always dying to save other asses.

Now me as a medic good ,as an killing machine i am really bad, so what i tend to do is stick around with a good assault or AT and watch there ass, throwing medic packs all the time and i will die while resus my player as he is the better shot and 80% of the time works a treat. I think if you play as medic expect to have a bad KDR as most of us are getting our ass kicked so we can get an AT or Support guy back.

I was just wondering, what do you guys expect from people who play kits like medic nd support nd whathav ya?

I was goin around the forum nd i came across people who were complaining about players who dont play the kits properly.

Personally #1. i think medics should stay back about od direct fire but assisting in killing enemies while also reviving and healing teammates.

#2. Support should stay back to provide covering fire for teamates as they move forward, then moving forard again themselves and repeating (while resupplying teamates).

#3 Anti Tank should stay out of action only supporting and taking out tanks.

#4 Snipers should stay well far back and taking any shot they believe that will assist teamates.

#5 Special ops guy(forgot what called) should stick to flanking the enemy (sneak attacks) and also placing c4 traps, destroying commander assets.

#6 Assault should be main firepower, should concentrate on taking out enemies and covering teamates.

7# Engineers should mine choke points for enemy veihcles and repair teamates veihcles, assets.

Those are what i believe to be the 1st priorities for certain kits.
Feel free to say what you think they should do.

lol all you say that everyone should take cover and let the assault troopers to be the ducks... ^^

Tank Drivers should refrain from doing 6 laps around a palm tree and attempting to drive to carrier.
