aircraft kills

I can fly planes and choppers but can't seem to get any kills.

Can anyone advise which are the best maps to play to get kills and whether there should be low or high number of players on the server ?

I have a joystick but dont like using it

I can fly easy enough with mouse and keyboard - how will joystick affect kills ?

Joystick lets you move better or faster..

What do you mean kills? kills from what?

Air isnt very hard like I said in my last post. Just lock and spam the missles you have a very high chance of killing whoever it was.. Wait for flares etc but not much needed

If you have no idea how to follow someone in a jet then you will probably die from them

make a single player game or lan and fly around

Gulf of Oman is a good map for kills, Kubra Dam is good for jets

dont think it matters.

Just dont play on maps with anti air vehicles... I am not sure but I think they have longer range then the ground AA

A joystick will improve in every single way when it comes to flying jets.

GET A JOYSTICK... without it, don't plan on getting any kills. For all of you that thinks m/kbd = joystick.... you are WRONG. Here is why. The Rudder is CRUCIAL to getting any type of control.. ESPECIALLY when shooting things with your gun, and your gun should be your main source for kills. With m/kbd, all you have is A & D... with a joystick, you have everywhere in between, AND, you can do it fast... slow.... etc. And no matter what you say, joystick is way more efficient (no picking up the mouse etc.)

So start getting used to your joystick. Which map? Wake. How many people? Alot.

Try to get to the Airfield and shoot the heli/jet pads for beginners... then once you are comfortable in the jet enough, learn to bomb the right way, and to do this, it takes practice. "How do I practice!?"... well... you need to assign one of your buttons (i suggest assigning it to your joystick-hat-thing.. like right or something) to chase front, so RIGHT when you release the bombs pull up and press chase front, so you can see where they land... reload and keep trying.

By the way.. don't practice in a real server. Please do that on your own time, and in a single player game.. ok? Ok.

I've seen some people use it as thier only attack method. LOL

I heard that Stryke at Kurkelend is a good map for aircraft kills...

Seriously, though... don't worry about starting a SP map for practicing- there are loads of empty (or near-empty, for that matter) Oman, Wake, Kubra servers where you can get some practice hours in. And, if there are 1 - 3 other players on, the round won't start, but you might be able to talk them into some dogfighting sessions.

All i'm saying is don't go into a full wake 64 server and expect to practice in there :)
