I do not think this is wrong at all. It's their server, they can do whatever they want with it. If they hadn't set up that server, it wouldn't be in existence; then even the ones who actually want that kind of gameplay wouldn't have that opportunity.

that type of server is violating the rules EA set forth that all ranked servers must follow to maintain a 'ranked' status.....

they may not implicity, or explicitly limit the role of a player....yada yada, i forget the text, but its found

anyone/everyone in that server is stat padding.....and may even have their stats reset........the ppl providing the server will get bitched out and/or lose ranked status

im glad it was reported here, so that for the short time it passes through the "ranked" filter, i know to avoid it

I didn't even know the Devils Brigade had a BF2 server. I used to love their FH server but I hate stat padding so I don't know what to think.

be prepared to only bring a shotgun. and only that cuz youll get banned like i did for complaining about it. oh and of course you cant use any vehicles either! i think they were trying to make it as close to CSS as possible

i used the proper links to sent a complaint to EA dought anything will happen but really servers like this just a) shouldnt exist b.) or should have there ranked privliges temporaily nerfed. to teach them a lesson not to pull this kind of crap/vent over.

If its a ranked server, which I'm assuming it is that's obviously against the ROE to limit weapons used just like pistol/knife only servers.

I suggest you report them to www.bf2rankedservers.com and include screenshots. Remember printscreen screenshots don't work unless you alt-tab out and paste them into a paint program. I suggest you use something like fraps from www.fraps.com to take some screenshots.

Leave it up to the guys at BF2RS and they will pass it onto EA and they will be dealt with.

i did report them to EA but i didnt have screen shots because i didnt know how to do it. i thought the 1.2 bug made it impossible? please run me through the steps of making a screen shot. TIA

There is nothing worse than this crap going on.

The other night one of my clan buds was on a server. He was running for a plan and started being shot at. He turned around and shot back thinking it was an enemy and killed the guy. He suddenly realised it was someone on his side. Next thing he knows is he is being booted from server as he had killed an admin.....go figure hey :)
