Well my other computer is very slow and full of useless junk. I wan't to know how I would reformat it without removing windows. Because im afraid if I reformat I won't be able to get the windows operating system back. Please help me. Thank you.

You can't reformat without losing everything on the drive. YOu can re-install windows though without reformatting.

another option for cleaning up xp is to manually do a 'hive restore'. that rolls back xp's registry to the first successful install/boot of xp. its not a common procedure, but I've done it before and it worked well. you'll have to google 'restore hive' and figure out how to do it as its a manual process. you may not want to do this if your not experienced messing with the registry.
