Special Forces will not install

I had BF2 installed with the 1.2 patch. So I go out and buy the SF expansion and try to install it. The install was looking good up till the time I see 1.1 patch failed. Then I now this game is going south on me. Sure nuf, half way thru disc2 the PC locks up. An hour later I say *uck it and hard boot the PC.
NOw I find that BF2 is *ucking up so I try to uninstall with no luck.
I find a uninstall guide on EAs site and I do like it said.
Then I install BF2 then SF. But still the same thing. It lock half way thru SF disc2.

Can someone tell me what the *uck to do, Before I get out the AK and dhead over to DICE

un-still both..try deleteding reg. key..with a program like ccleaner

then install BF2+sf+ then the patch.

Well I got installed!
This time around after the man.unistall and reg clean up I rebooted into safe mode and installed BF2 then rebooted into safe mode and installed SF and then I rebooted one more time into safe mode to install the bf2_patch_1.2.exe.

Now that the game is running ok I can start working on the other two PCs in the house. LOL

PS EA Games and Dice need to get their **** togather. Things like this kill a great game.

good job u got it to work..REMEMBER its not ea and dice its DICE..ea just sells the game and does PR.

I guess I spoke to soon. Now but not all the time I get this BS about my game being modified after taking 5 minutes to get on a server. Oh and I can select the EngOnly box.
