Weird Chopper kill

last night when I was driving an American AC and chasing down infantries, I saw a message:

{WXC}Panda [20mm Gun] Someone

Since all kills from AC shots should be the choppers name, I wonder if I killed someone directly with the nose gun itself.

hmm, I dont think ive ever seen that, But I think if you hit him with the nose of the gun it would A. give it to the pilot and B. would say You [Killed] Someone.

It happened to me once in 1.1 or 1.0. It appears that they have some kind of hardcoded names for weapons that differs from the ones that usually show. I would guess that the american and PLA have the same class weapon namely the 20mm cannon. Sometimes they show the hardcoded names instead of the regular ones.
