Explosives Badge - COMBO required or optional?

For the Explosives badge - any combination of mines, clays, and c4 -- at least 13 kills in a round...

My question is: Do you have to use all 3 types of explosives (1 or more kills using each) or can you just get 13 kills using c4 for example?

one will do the job. I unfortunatley did the claymore trick just to get it out of the way. I feel ashamed about it but stopped doing it soon after I got it. I do not like having to get badges and stuff for my next rank. I know rank is not that important but I only have one more badge left so might as well go for it.

You can gt it with any one type of explosive..AT mine, c-4, or claymore.
Or you can mix it up if you want...
Just 13 kills with any explosives....

Got mine with AT mines on SF, wasnt aiming for it just there were so many idiots who kept walking into my minefield again and again :laugh:

Top tip, try and hide them in tufts of grass right next to popular routes, that way they are almost impossible to see and thus avoid. Then if they keep on insisting to use that route but get wise to particular spots simply vary it about eg, plant where they stop upon noticing the old mines.

i got expert explosive, all with c4. pre 1.2 patch i could throw c4 all round and easily get over 70 kills on a kark server.

i feel sorry for anyone who actually cares about their medals and didn't get the expert explosive badge befor 1.2 patch, cause there is no way in hell you can get it now.

You plant 4 or 3 C4s on a jeep, switch to the detonator, drive into your target
(group of troops, tanks, other jeeps etc.), jump out right before you make a contact with the target, let the jeep continue rolling abit and then BOOM! you detonate the C4s which will kill any infantry standing right next to your vehicle + tanks etc. standing near it :).

Right now your best bet will be claymore spamming...I hate it but I did it just to get the 37 kills for veteran...if you do do that do it before the next patch...as of now you can drop up to 5 at a time, after patch it will be 2 max.

I did apologize to all the players once I got it and promised to stop doing it and haven't done it since.

I wish grenades counted (they are explosives after all) I would have gotten the veteran exp. badge long ago.
