Clan Advice Please - I need some friends!

Ok, fairly new user. Looking for a clan that isnt full of 13 year old glue sniffers who play 20 hours a day and blow me off the map in a helo every three seconds.
I don't fly, I usually play engineer. Still learning - not interested in being the best player out there. I like the team playing aspect of this game using teamspeak and squads, preferably with a proper command structure. I'm one of those weird blokes who actually follows the commanders orders! Makes the game alot more enjoyable.
If anyone can recommend a clan that likes the same and plays regular, please let me know

    Thanks

    Tony

Best idea is to log into clan servers - find the ones that have the play style that matches your own, then apply to them.

ditto to what Awe said (although I've been playing a ridiculous amount of time lately)
just a side note - ping time is always a concern to me... my thought is that you just can't join any clan because their server(s) don't always have good pings.. i'm always looking for a ping in the 30's. Maybe this is'nt as important as I think, but it 'seems' like 100+ pings are a disadvantage.

If you are a team player and follow order then EliteWarriors are for you. See the link to their website below. We a 64 map now and it plays every map in rotation twice. Played last night..... ....need I say more.

Indeed they are. I have found several servers that I have a low ping to (30 or lower) that I consistently play on, and have them listed in my favorites. I'd say find some clan servers with a low ping for you, then choose one out of those. I have found one or two clans that I would join this way if I were interested in joining a clan. There are some good ones out there - the only problem is you gotta sift through the not-so-good ones to find them.

Not in a clan now(no time), but in the clan I used to belong to, we strongly believed it was far more important to recruit based on character than ability.
People can learn to get better at the game, and pick up skillz, the same cant be said for attitiude, character or personality. Id rather play with someone whos moderate at gaming, but a decent person than the opposite.

                Agreed, same here.

Try different servers, chat, see who responds, and go from there. If you follow orders and seem to play decent (not skill, just not being an idiot), if they are interested in you, they'll recruit you.

There a different clans too. We happen to be a 'tactical' clan which tries to use 'real-life' tactics for more enhanced realism.
