His SF version is patched to 1.12 while BF2 vanilla is patched to 1.2, Talus.

That's what I'm trying to figure out now..let's hope other people post back with their findings.

I'm ASSUMING it is normal...but then again, I don't play SF at all due to the bugs and terrible graphics lag.

Same for me. Seems normal. I think it's because nothing was done to SF I assume in 1.2 and therefor....

i got 1.12 on both, but im able to play on 1.2 servers... weird
