You fail aussie. your thread title is "FF is coming back for claymores" like its some kind of SET thing for all servers. Yet EA's message is:

"Though it is not required". Like i said, you lose, and you've managed to make everyone in this thread except for like 2 people think that FF on claymores will be forced for all servers, thus causing widespread confusion amongst the noobs, and probably more threads about this topic

It's enough if they make it so that after the next patch the default setting for mines is FF on. Should have a number of servers where citymaps dont become a claymorefest.

If you play alone well you are dead, but in city maps if you play in team theres always a medic besides you to revive so..

CHANGE THE GAMEPLAY, pilot did it with AA, now noobs please start to change your strategy in city maps and avoid the mines and claymores and play in a squad and start being teamplayers not lone wolf, a teammate will revive.:)

I think its a bit dumb having ff for mines and claymores... its hard to tell if its a c4 or not cause of the huge scull.. instead it should be a red diagram of what it is.

..and there's always an enemy to shoot the medic. No FF "fire and forget" weapons are bad for game , mmmkay ?

We left it untouched , i.e. FF on for claymores and mines . It's way too easy with it turned off for spammers. Even though we have clear messages both on the joining screen and in-game to tell players , you still get the muppets who complain when they realise it's not off . Moral of the story , read info when joining and read in-game messages.

Better fix was to show different colors for each mine/claymore/c4 And to make claymores destructable.. And also make it so you can pick up claymores/c4/mines


Claymores and mines are not some kind of smart bomb and can tell whos enemy and who's friend It should tk yourself and anyone else

Its being spammed to much.. You cant adjust to it... Say there is 5 claymores around a flag....you cant do anything

Isnt the above fix better then taking FF out all together?

I like the idea of making them destructable. But if you can see a claymore or mine in front of you. DONT RUN INTO IT!!! Also why should someone get punished for the stupidity of a noob running into a mine or claymore. Also people complain about running into a flag area or around a corner to get blown up by a claymore, Hey its not suppose to be a cap fest, War is hell. Deal with it.

Below is a list of the current confirmed fixes

• Crash bug when using Hummer with TOW in the Special Forces expansion pack has been fixed
• Screen capture is now working
• Performance issues with certain ATI cards has been addressed
• Server browser can now filter by map name
• Claymores - the number that can be dropped at any one time has been reduced to 2

This has be taken from the 1.21 community update from the EA website. The spamming will be reduced by snipers being restricted to laying 2 maximum even after getting additional ammo. Thats how i read it anyway. I've only been killed by 2 claymores since the patch so it hasn't been a problem, then again i'm not a karkand whore so...

I think they should be destructable with grenades, shells etc. Do like the FF setting off though cos its saves a lot of frustration from tosspots who punish

Im actually very happy with the way things are with claymores and mines only thing id like to see is the activation range on the claymores being reduced alot. Its not right im walking down the main street of karkland and then i get blown up by a claymore in the alley thats 20 ft away (well maybe not that fair but im no were near it.).

K, well first of all why don't they just make claymores blowupable by grenades or if you shoot it etc, second of all, they should leave the mines alone, I got a ton of TK's for using mines before, because alot of people don't know what the red skull means.
