I created a map, and when im close to the ground, the texture is all black and i can see the road fine, but if i look far away or hop in a chopper, when i get a few hundred feet up the texture appears normal, but the road vanishes...Also water looks grey up close, but normal farther away. If anyone knows a fix to this please help me, ive put alot of time into this map.

Re: Texture black when close
Can anyone please help me, ive searched high and low, theres just no solution...Its kinda lame that EA Games would create such a lame PoS editor then offer no support for it.... In searching the forums all i found is the following, please tell me if you can make any sense of this.....
If you can translate this pls helpthe problem is this, the o4 editor 2006, which public got on 16 jan has a bug in the colour maps,
to help u out, this what u do, in the map u made go into and then go to editor folder of your map, then copy the coulor maps and the detail folder but mostly it just the colour maps u need copy to your map folder, it will ask u do wish to overwite etc, click yes ALL, then go back into the program editor and load up your map, do a little paint one line should be anuff then save all(which u dont need to do but it helps) then u can play your map with clour on floor.Comment
