I have only been playing BF2 for about two months. So i am fairly new sense my switch from Black Hawk Down. I recently made MSgt and i am trying for First Sgt. I have all my basic combats (some vet.) and knife/pistol. My question is was i surposed to get all my basics before i put on MSgt? Is there any way to get First Sgt now or just wait for next rank?

There is no way to go from Master Sergeant to First Sergeant. If you get the basic vehicle badges by 50k, you will still be able to go on to Sergeant Major though.

just kill many people and try get lot of gold,silver and bronze to earn many point to get rank up. some rank had aim point, for example...to get to private first rank u need 800 points... (know wat i mean plz quote on me)Originally posted by SalComment

First Seargent requires that you have all basic combat badges BY THE TIME you get 20,000 points. This means basic medic, basic support, basic assault, basic sniper, basic engineer, basic spec ops, basic pistol, and basic knife combat badges. If you do not have ALL of these by 20,000 you will not become First Sergeant ever.Comment

This question may have been asked..
But my BFHQ says my next rank is First Seargent. Does that mean I have already qualified for the rank? If it does, then you dont need the knife badge.. because I dont have it.Comment
