Yes, I know there is a stickied thread that tells you how to uninstall BF and all the patches, but I am in a special predicament. I am home on spring break, and brought CD #1 of BF2 so I could play it over break. unfortunately i never got any of the patches, i'm still running on 1.03 or whatever, and the number of public servers available to me (running my version) has dwinded to about seven or eight. so i was thinking, well, why dont i get the latest patch?
so i go the the ea website and get 1.2 patch (not the incremental one, because i had never patched before). but then i found out that it ****s up my game, because i have one of those ati cards that it messes up for, causing lag and the buildings to be invisible.
so i cant play bf2 over break unless the hotfix 1.21 comes out very shortly (unlikely) or if i uninstall 1.2 and go back to playing original or perhaps 1.12. BUT, i cant uninstall the whole game because i wont be able to reinstall it, as CD #2 and the manual (with the CD-key) are at school, not here at home.
is there any way i cant remove the patch without uninstalling the whole game?
