Which are the best mods

Hi all,
I live in Singapore, will it be possible to play multiplayer for BF2 mods? Cuz most servers are in US hence the ping will be high and I'll constantly get kicked?

Also, because my friend tells me that we in Asia cant play such mods, I never got into it. But after hearing members say its great, thought of giving it a shot? Which Mods are really good and worth playing? Could you guys recommend?

Also for the mods, will single player option be playable with bots? Thanks

There's a couple of good mini-mods out, one is Desert Conflict's CTF mini-mod and the other is Project Reality's mini-mod.

Both are multiplayer only I think.

There'll be some greta mods along eventually, but for now the choice is quite limited.

Look out for: Point of Existence 2, Forgotten Hope 2, Desert Conflict, Eve of Destruction to name just a few.
