How come I'm not a First Seargent?

Ok, this may sound like a dumb question, but I've been trying like crazy to increase my rank. I'm currently a Master Seargent, with 33,000 global points, and all the basic badges, but still, I haven't been made a First Seargent. What else do I need to do?

You need to have all Basic badges before 20.000, otherwise you will be Master Sergeant until the next promotions. Any badges earned after you passed 20.000 and got your new rank don't count towards the promotion. To become First Sergeant you need all Basic Badges BEFORE 20.000.

I do not see the big deal with First Seargent and Master Seargent? It only helps when applying for comander. Trying for the badges takes the fun out of the game. All the badges that I recieved was from just playing the game. The knife badge is a nice achievement, but the pistol may be harder to attain and take away from how someone plays the game.
I would be happy with Master Seargent and Master Gunnery Seargant(I beliveve that's the next rank) as long as I am still enjoying the game.

Most of the times I am a comander because no applies for it. I do not care to much for comander unless I am in the mood for it.

No, just the basic kits + pistol and knife. Check out the req's at the bottom for 1st Sargeant.
